For about two months now, Doña Tagó has been explaining to me how she doesn't go to Mass because she can't receive the Eucharist because she has to go to confession. Fr. Gee hears confessions every Friday evening in Bánica during the weekly holy hour, and every Friday for about two months now something would come up to keep the doña from making it to the church. But finally, this past weekend, gracias a Dios, she made it, and she was back at Mass on Sunday morning. Certainly cause for celebration, and it just happened to be on Mom's feast day.
