We've recently started up a group for the girls at San Francisco called Las Teresitas, with the Little Flower as our patroness. The 6-9 year olds meet every Saturday morning, and the 10-13 year olds meet on Monday nights. One of the things we're working on is learning the act of contrition. So yesterday the question was: when we pray the act of contrition, what are we asking of God? The answer I was looking for was perdón de los pecados, or, forgiveness of sin. One little girl's hand shot up right away, and she very proudly answered, "Perdón de los pescados," or, forgiveness of fish. I guess I should work a bit on my pronunciation.
